If you grow tired of the tabloids' "Heart Transplant Baby Goes Home For Christmas" -type stories, but still want to cathartically celebrate the survival of the defenseless among us (and isn't that the nicest part of the baby Jesus story?), check out "He Loves New York, and It Loves Him Right Back" from the Times on Sunday.
