They were some pretty classless comments from the Mets staff in early 2006 when their AAA teams got moved to the still-wrecked New Orleans.
A year or so later, they seem to have wised the funk up and embraced a town that wants them. (I'm surprised the Times didn't beat them up worse about this long before now.)
It took the Mets that long to get over missing out on their chance to play in Columbus, Ohio: a city with a social scene that can be encapsulated by a single myspace page.
