They interviewed folks from the freak show, and though said freaks didn't say anything bad about the incoming development, but there was still a sense of resignation about the whole thing. Juxtaposed with the quality shots of a lady swallowing a sword and a wookie walking a tightrope, I think viewers basically got the idea that all was not settled and kosher at Coney Island.
(I realize I'm reading an awful lot into a 60 second piece, but that's the point: it was ambiguous enough to make want to head over to Google News. Which is about the best you can hope for from 99% of cable TV news.)
