Clyde Haberman writes in the Times today that trains seem to be running not only slower, but uglier:
The suspicion here is either that subway mangers are asleep or, more likely, that some railyard workers are ignoring graffiti as part of a slowdown that has become obvious, never mind don't-blame-us-pronouncements from the Transport Workers Union.It's on TimesSelect, so no linking (Which is fine.
